Production Blog: The Editing

Hey again, today I am going to be talking about my editing. I am going to be using CapCut. This is an editing software I found. It has been a struggle if I'm being honest to continue being motivated. But I am going to keep pushing through it. Even though this has been very fun it can just be irritating at some times. This has been the first time I've used CapCut. That's why this has been a frustrating time. But I've been playing with the editing. Where I've been working with transitions. I've also been working on putting in the music with the photos.  I also used iMovie. Which is made by Apple. Some features are being able to add videos and pictures to projects. Some other features are being able to fade audio and enhance video color. Crafting my personal commercial through photo selection and editing has been an exhilarating and enlightening journey. Each image in the final selection tells a part of my story, contributing to a cohesive visual narrative. As I get closer to sharing my personal commercial with the world, I'm filled with anticipation. Stay tuned for the final reveal. Thank you for joining me on this creative adventure!

   1. What elements (Conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?    M3GAN incorporates many elements that our group has chose to base our final task on. For one, it stars a lonely young girl, who seems to have lost everything. The movie seems to have the perfect amount of suspense, which will 100 percent be used in our project. Darker lighting was another thing that stood out during this movie, adding to the skeptical feeling of the audience. Filming Blog: Scenes 6-12

 Hey, blog I'm back. Today I filmed scenes 6-12. Today was my first day being on the other side of the camera. I was very excited and thrilled to be able to get some experience in being in a short film. My role is the killer/stalker of the protagonist. In the first scene, my character is in you see me lurking in the shadows as Rowyn is going on her run through the neighborhood. This scene was hard to film because it was hard to keep composure during this scene. But, we ended up filming this scene and moving on. I appear later on outside of Rowyn's window leaving a mark on her window. This scene was fun to film because we used fake blood and I had to submerge my hand in it. That was a weird experience but I'm glad I've been able to do things like that and try new things such as that. I was able to be very productive today because of collaboration with my group members.
