Production Blog: Adding my Songs

 Hey again, today I am going to be talking about how I implemented my song into my video. The song I picked was today was a good day by Ice Cube. I picked this song because it felt like it resonated with what I was trying to say. By using this song it conveys that even though sometimes you can face adversity you can still have a new day. Another song I picked was Don't Stop Believing by Journey. I picked this song because its main purpose talks about not giving up which really relates to me. In the first part of the commercial I used Today Was A Good Day. I used that song first because of its upbeat tone. Another reason I picked it was because it is a very well-known song. The reason I chose to add Don't Stop Believing 2nd was because it fit the tone of my commercial. This was because I like to think I am a person that doesn't give up easily. I used the song because its well-known. Then I started the editing process. It started off very difficult because I haven't used iMovie in a long time. Then after I got used to it, it became easier. While editing I made some transitions. Then I added the songs to the commercial. The first song will play for 25 seconds, and then the second song will play for 15. I'm glad I am able to keep updating you guys with my commercial. Talk to you later.

   1. What elements (Conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?    M3GAN incorporates many elements that our group has chose to base our final task on. For one, it stars a lonely young girl, who seems to have lost everything. The movie seems to have the perfect amount of suspense, which will 100 percent be used in our project. Filming Blog: Scenes 6-12

 Hey, blog I'm back. Today I filmed scenes 6-12. Today was my first day being on the other side of the camera. I was very excited and thrilled to be able to get some experience in being in a short film. My role is the killer/stalker of the protagonist. In the first scene, my character is in you see me lurking in the shadows as Rowyn is going on her run through the neighborhood. This scene was hard to film because it was hard to keep composure during this scene. But, we ended up filming this scene and moving on. I appear later on outside of Rowyn's window leaving a mark on her window. This scene was fun to film because we used fake blood and I had to submerge my hand in it. That was a weird experience but I'm glad I've been able to do things like that and try new things such as that. I was able to be very productive today because of collaboration with my group members.
