Reflection About Me

 This project has given me the opportunity to express myself and learn new things. Like being able to upload videos on YouTube and edit videos on iMovie. I also learned how to edit pictures together using transitions and putting music in the background. I think on the next project I should give myself more time to complete each step separately instead of doing them all at once. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed making this commercial and can't wait to do more projects in the future.

   1. What elements (Conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?    M3GAN incorporates many elements that our group has chose to base our final task on. For one, it stars a lonely young girl, who seems to have lost everything. The movie seems to have the perfect amount of suspense, which will 100 percent be used in our project. Darker lighting was another thing that stood out during this movie, adding to the skeptical feeling of the audience. Comparing 9, the short-film, and 9, the full-length movie

Short Film The short film "9" by Shane Acker is an excellent example of concise and visually-driven storytelling. It follows 9, as they navigate a post apocalyptic world that is dominated by deadly machines. The story is minimalist, relying on actions rather than words to convey 9’s bravery and resourcefulness. The film utilizes rusted machinery, in addition to decaying landscapes to create an eerie, atmospheric setting. Acker uses tight framing and muted colors to build tension and immerse the viewer in this desolate world.
