1. How does my product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?

My music video conveys the stress relieved on a dayoff from school, work, and/or life. This shown by the characters body language. Which reflects the carefree and relaxed nature of a day off. Slower movements, comfortable postures, and carefree gestures can all contribute to this portrayal. Another way to see the relieved stress is the characters facial expressions. Which captures genuine smiles, sighs of relief, and expressions of contentment to convey the emotional satisfaction that accompanies a well-deserved break. Another way it conveys the stress relived day is the relaxed day he has. The video shows the character engaging in relatable and enjoyable lazy day activities, such as lounging on the beach, casually strolling through the mall, and chilling at home. The visuals should emphasize the joy and freedom associated with taking a break. Another thing that shows the calming affects is the scenery. The showcased scenic beauty in each setting, whether it's the serene beach, the inviting comfort of home, or the diverse and vibrant atmosphere of the mall. The visual appeal reinforces the idea that taking a day off allows one to appreciate and immerse themselves in their surroundings. Lastly the video also represents the importance of selfcare. The video depicts moments of self-indulgence, such as enjoying a favorite snack, taking a nap, or engaging in a hobby. These scenes celebrate self-care and emphasize that taking a day off is an act of prioritizing one's well-being. This video engages the audience by the use of the beautiful environment. The use of symbolic elements within the scenery to reinforce the theme of taking a day off. This could include imagery like an open book on the beach, a closed laptop at home, or a shopping bag left behind in the mall. These symbols visually communicate the concept of relaxation and escape.The beach, with its expansive views, soft sands, and calming waves, offers a picturesque and serene backdrop. The audience can connect with the idea of a lazy day spent by the water, associating it with tranquility and leisure, the mall provides a contrasting but equally engaging setting. Utilize vibrant and diverse visuals of storefronts, people, and unique architectural elements, the scenes at home can be relatable and cozy, portraying familiar spaces where the audience can imagine themselves unwinding. Influencers can share teasers, reactions, or even create content inspired by the music video. This collaboration expands the reach to new audiences. This comprehensive distribution plan ensures that the music video reaches a wide audience across various platforms, engages fans through diverse content, and sustains interest over the long term. 3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

This project helped me with my ability to conceptualize and plan this project. Developing the ability to brainstorm creative ideas aligned with the song's theme. Learn how to create storyboards to visualize the narrative and improving skills in translating concepts into visual elements, considering the mood of the song, and understanding the target audience. I also learned new ways to perfect my quality of video through editing and other tools. It also enabled me to improve my problem solving skills when I was unable to go to certain locations cause I was unable to use a car to get there. I was able to improve on my overall understanding of the fundamentals of video making which include gaining familiarity with camera equipment, lighting techniques, and basic video editing software. Throughout this project, I progressed from basic skills in conceptualization and planning to advanced proficiency in collaboration, problem-solving, and audience engagement. 

4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

During this project I used iMovie to help piece together this music video. This included assembling and editing footage, using basic visual effects and transitions. I used iMovie because it is a user-friendly video editing software, and while it may not have the advanced capabilities of professional-grade tools, it is suitable for simpler projects and ideal for beginners. Which helped me improve on my editing skills and overall comprehension of being able to make, edit, and conceptualize this project.
