Editing Blog: Piecing Together the Intro

 Hey blog, I'm back. Today we are going to start the editing process. As I said in the previous blog this is the biggest editing project I've ever worked on. During this first phase of editing, I will be piecing the transitions together and connecting them with the other scenes we filmed. I will also be helping make our title. I will iMovie for our editing. We decided to use iMovie because we as a group have more experience with iMovie. We also chose iMovie because we all have Apple devices which helps make this process easier. We have allocated the most amount of time to editing. We did this because we believe that editing is one of the harder aspects of this project and that it requires a lot of time. When I got home from school I started the process. I would've started sooner but I had a baseball game that I had that day. When I got home I downloaded all of the videos that everyone had filmed on their different cameras. Then I made a folder and put all the videos in it. Then I sorted them by scene. Around then it was close to 11 because I got home from baseball at 9. Then had to eat dinner so I had to start late at 10. I was feeling really tired so at that point I decided to stop editing for the night. Then I saved everything put my computer away and went to sleep. That was the first day of editing, looking forward to continuing editing!

For one, it stars a lonely young girl, who seems to have lost everything. The movie seems to have the perfect amount of suspense, which will 100 percent be used in our project. Filming Blog: Scenes 6-12

 Hey, blog I'm back. Today I filmed scenes 6-12. Today was my first day being on the other side of the camera. I was very excited and thrilled to be able to get some experience in being in a short film. My role is the killer/stalker of the protagonist. In the first scene, my character is in you see me lurking in the shadows as Rowyn is going on her run through the neighborhood. This scene was hard to film because it was hard to keep composure during this scene. But, we ended up filming this scene and moving on. I appear later on outside of Rowyn's window leaving a mark on her window. This scene was fun to film because we used fake blood and I had to submerge my hand in it. That was a weird experience but I'm glad I've been able to do things like that and try new things such as that. I was able to be very productive today because of collaboration with my group members.
