Filming Blog: Scenes 1-3

 What's up blog I'm back and ready to resume talking about my final task. Today I filmed scenes 1-3. I was assigned the role of filming. When filming started we were struggling. The group had to continue to redo the scenes because of a lack of seriousness. Even though this was not planned it made the filming process more enjoyable. But eventually, it stopped and focused on the tasks at hand. I began to start the final shootings for these scenes. I have to come to enjoy being behind the camera. Filming the scene and having control of the angle and different types of shots was cooler than I expected. Although I only filmed the first 3 scenes it was good to get a feel for what is to come in the future. From what I have filmed it seems that this movie is on its way to becoming a very good project. I hope as we progress I will be able to take more of a leadership role and make sure the group is on task and proficient in time management. Including myself I need to check myself so I can get the work done and make sure it is done correctly.  Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to complete more scenes together in the time when the group is together. I know that finding times in the future when the group can all meet will be difficult. So for the present and the future, the group should be able to complete everything when we meet. But on the upside, we did do around one fourth of the total movie. Which puts our group on our timeline of finishing on time. Can't wait to give you another update. Bye, Blog!

   1. What elements (Conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?    M3GAN incorporates many elements that our group has chose to base our final task on. For one, it stars a lonely young girl, who seems to have lost everything. The movie seems to have the perfect amount of suspense, which will 100 percent be used in our project. Darker lighting was another thing that stood out during this movie, adding to the skeptical feeling of the audience. Filming Blog: Scenes 6-12

 Hey, blog I'm back. Today I filmed scenes 6-12. Today was my first day being on the other side of the camera. I was very excited and thrilled to be able to get some experience in being in a short film. My role is the killer/stalker of the protagonist. In the first scene, my character is in you see me lurking in the shadows as Rowyn is going on her run through the neighborhood. This scene was hard to film because it was hard to keep composure during this scene. But, we ended up filming this scene and moving on. I appear later on outside of Rowyn's window leaving a mark on her window. This scene was fun to film because we used fake blood and I had to submerge my hand in it. That was a weird experience but I'm glad I've been able to do things like that and try new things such as that. I was able to be very productive today because of collaboration with my group members.
