Re-Editing Blog: Getting Everything Finished

 Hey blog what's up I'm back. As you know from the last blog we had to reshoot scenes 8-9. The reason we had to reshoot these scenes was due to our findings in editing this final task. We found that our scenes weren't able to fit transitions and that there were issues in the videos themselves. There was also the issue that scene 8 was too short and scene 9 was way too long. This led to our objective for our time being thrown off. So we added the new scenes we shot and applied our transitions. This took around 20-30 minutes. But then we ran into another issue. Since we used a different phone during the filming process of the retake the resolution of our video was off. So we tweaked the resolutions of all the other parts of the film to match. This took around 15 minutes to complete. After we completed this we moved on to finishing our title. We also applied our titling to this new part of the film. Finishing the title was easy taking only around 10 minutes.  The application took a little longer but only 15 minutes. This was one of the easier elements of the project because we didn't have to plan around other people's schedules. After finishing up I went to make one last check through the video for mistakes. Luckily, I found none. After I finished that I ended up going to bed. That's it blog see you later.

Title Research: Final Destination

 This film is from Watch the Titles, https://www.watchthetitles.com/titlesequence/the-final-destination/ 1. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The only title displayed is Final Destination but there are sequences of items going through skulls and bodies. The names of people who helped with the making of the movie were also displayed. 2. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Some images that were prioritized were skulls, bones, and the inside of bodies. Which showed the heart, lungs, and other internal organs.  3. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the opening sequence?  During the opening sequence, there is an establishment of blood, gore, and death. This directly correlates to the horror genre like how in most horror films there is blood, gore, and death.
